International Roaming (Euro Tariff)

Reduced International Roaming Charges

Following recent EU Regulation regarding international roaming charges which were adopted in Brussels earlier this year, mobile customers can now request that their mobile account is “Euro Tariff” enabled.

One of the key elements of the regulation was to ensure that roaming customers are charged no more than 38.8 pence per minute (including Vat) for any call made, and 19 pence per minute (including Vat) for any call received within the European Union. The actual amount charged will be dependent on which network a customer is registered with.

The key elements of the Euro Tariff proposal are detailed below. Customers should carefully consider each element of the proposal in full before making any decision.

Customers who have their account Euro Tariff enabled will notice on their bill that their advanced monthly service charge / line rental is deducted from the account and then reapplied. This is due to the tariff application process.
